Exodus 33
tells us God spoke to Moses face to face as a man speaks
to his friend.
II Chronicals 20 & Isaiah 41 - The
prayer of King Jehoshaphat and the Prophet Isaiah tells of
the seed of Abraham a friend of God forever.
John 11 - Jesus called Lazarus His
friend.
Matthew 26
- Jesus called Judas friend even though Judas was
betraying Him.
III John tells us to greet our friends
by name.

* He took your place on Calvary; your sins, your
torment, your suffering - all laid upon Him.
* He cried "I thirst"
so you could drink Living Water.
* He cried "My God, My
God, why hast thou forsaken Me" so you could
say, "Our Father who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy
Name".
* He suffered sorrow and grief, so you could have Joy
unspeakable and full of Glory - I Peter

* He was laid in a borrowed tomb, so you could
have a mansion reserved in Heaven for you. -
