Luke 13:6-9
This Parable is about
delayed Judgment and a warning that God will not tolerate
forever a lack of growth and productivity in our spiritual
life.
Question: Can a saved person be Unproductive? Yes

Many have time but waste it. |
| (2) |
Many have opportunities but miss them. |
| (3) |
Many have duties but neglect them. |
1. We must recognize the Value of
Time
(verse 6,7)
Everybody gets the same daily amount of
Time.
Notice : The frustration of the owner
Three years is long enough
Sadly in the church today:

Many will never lead a lost soul to Christ. |
| (2) |
Many will never minister to another person. |
| (3) |
Many will never get beyond a self-centered view of
themselves.
(Revelation 3:1,2) |
2. We must recognize the Value of Grace
(verse 8)
The caretaker was asking for Grace
to be extended

Grace defined: God’s riches at Christ’s expense
(verse 8 again)

much Grace Period do we have left?

3. We must recognize
the Value of our Mission
(verse 9)
This Parable teaches that
nothing survives that merely takes out and gives nothing
in return.
(verse 7)
The time to get serious about the future is not in the
Future, is not tomorrow, but Today.
